Legal Expresso – Editorial & Advertisement Policy

Legal Expresso aims to maintain its editorial integrity and the trust of its readers. Legal Expresso shall not advertise or accept an article if it does not comply with the minimum standards of decency. If any advertisement or article is found to be misleading, inaccurate and/or fraudulent, Legal Expresso reserves the right not to publish it.
An advertisement or article may be denied acceptance because of the applicable laws pertaining to matters such as libel, copyright and trademark, is indecent, vulgar, suggestive, profane, or offensive.

Articles:

Articles must contain proper English, including proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalizations and sentence structure. Legal Expresso reserves the right to edit an article to ensure readability and/or space considerations. No changes shall be made to the meaning of the text. In addition to ensuring that all efforts are made to avoid error, Legal Expresso does limit its responsibility for any errors, inaccuracies, misprints, omissions, or other mistakes in the article content.
Article tag lines will include the author’s credentials. Articles must not contain self-serving or promotional content in the article body, title or summary. Articles must not contain negative content towards any product, company, individual or group. Articles must not contain profanity or pornographic materials. Articles must not contain illegal or overly controversial content.

Advertising Guidelines:

All advertising content must be clearly distinguishable from the article content. It is the duty of the advertisers to ensure that the ads are adequately substantiated and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. If Legal Expresso identifies that an ad, in our opinion, contains demonstrably false or unlawful content, we shall refuse or remove the ad in whole or in part. In the event that we may have to remove all or part of the ad, the advertiser will be notified of this decision. We reserve the rights to reject any advertisement or article that is inconsistent with or may tend to bring disparagement, harm to reputation, or other damage to the Legal Expresso brand.
When an ad is approved by advertiser or authorized agent, publisher is relieved of all responsibility in price and copy.

Advertising Terms:

We reserve the right to reject any advertisement or advertiser for nonpayment of advertising. Complete payment for the ads must be received within 15 days of the date of invoice for published advertisements.

A particular set of guidelines cannot address every situation or issue that may arise in the course of doing business and hence Legal Expresso will revisit and update the same from time to time.
